Hemp is extremely strong, durable, absorbing and quick drying. The curtain will stop water from spraying outside your shower without a plastic liner. This keeps unnatural plastics out of our landfills. The shower curtain will get wet, but will not leak through.
They make a great alternative to vinyl (polyvinyl chloride, PVC) shower curtains which are difficult to recycle because they do not work well with other plastic materials. As a result, they become toxic waste, burned, or dumped in landfill.

Before choosing a hemp fabric shower curtain
Your curtain will need to be washed regularly.
Mould can occur if not laundered often.
Ventilation is important to allow your curtain to dry.
Measure for the correct amount of distance off the floor.
Salt is a thicker fabric and needs extra care -Not recommended for bathrooms that do not have excellent airflow.
Ensure that the curtain length is right for your bathroom, it is important for the fabric not to lay in the shower pan. For the best result and longevity of your shower curtain, have at least a 2-3cm space between the bottom of the curtain and the floor.
How to measure for your shower curtain-Place your hook on the rail and measure from the base of the hook to at least 2/3cm up from the floor so the bottom will not sit in water.
