Market assistant

Purpose: The market assistant is a paid position. It serves as a support to Beatrice on the weekend markets. 

Location: Lilyfield or Frenchs Forest (or both)

Key responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading the HGA Van
  • Visual merchandising
  • Cash handling
  • Product knowledge
  • Customer handling
  • May be called to assist with Trade Shows & Expos (Paid)
  • Other duties as assigned

Length of Appointment: The market assistant serves one or two days per week for three months. After three months, the assistant may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the supervisor.

Time Commitment: One or two days per week (Saturday and/or Sunday) from 7am - 2pm. 

Qualifications: Basic knowledge sales and customer service. Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability. Must have ability to carry or hold heavy items (no significant injuries)

Support: Training for this position will be provided. Also, all Beatrice will be available for questions and assistance.

Showroom & Warehouse coordinator

Purpose: The showroom and warehouse assistant is a paid position. It serves as a support to the office staff with day to day activities. 

Location: Frenchs Forest, NSW 2086

Key responsibilities

  • Accepts deliveries
  • Prepares orders and shipments
  • Aids in the preparation of sales documentation
  • Assists with stocktake 
  • Prepares stock ready for retail or markets
  • Data-entry
  • May be called to assist with Trade Shows & Expos (Paid)
  • Other duties as assigned

The Length of Appointment: The showroom and warehouse assistant serves one day per week for three months. After three months, the assistant may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the supervisor. 

Time Commitment: One or two days per week (Monday-Friday) from 9am - 5pm, for a minimum of three months.

Qualifications: Basic knowledge of computer and data entry. Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability.

Support: Training for this position will be provided. Also, all staff will be available for questions and assistance.
