Chemical free commercial hemp textiles.
Hemp, hemp hooray! Really happy to announce that all our hemp fabrics, can now be treated with eco solutions to meet all Australian Standards for commercial interiors. Till a few weeks ago, all these treatments contained toxic chemicals which I did not feel comfortable coating our chemical free, hemp fabrics with, unless a client specifically required it. The best thing is, the treatment has EKO certification and all done in Australia

Beatrice is the director of Hemp Gallery, which carries Hemp products to carry their message of environmental sustainability. Hemp is grown without agricultural chemicals, has modest water requirements and leaves the soil in good condition for following crops. Furthermore hemp fabric is processed using non toxic substances unlike “natural” fibres such as cotton and bamboo.
Join us on Ashford Radio as Beatrice explains how she goes by the “green book” on what type of material is environmentally safe. She will be describing the past history of The Hemp Plant and how they breakdown what guards the environment and what’s considered destructive.

We have been busy…!
Wow, it’s been busy here with Ray in New Zealand. Vegetarians and hemp food enthusiast as well as the Industrial Hemp Association members around Australia have been focusing on the FSANZ hemp foods submission which was open to the public, which closes in just 3 DAYS! We are also looking at holding a hemp building workshop soon somewhere in the Northern Beaches. I’ll keep you updated!
